In the last day, reports indicate that Ukrainian forces deployed a substantial amount of munitions and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in strikes across the Belgorod region. A Telegram channel cited statements from regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov detailing the intensity of the attacks.
According to the update, six settlements within Belgorod experienced shelling linked to actions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The areas impacted include the villages of Solntsevka, Cheremoshnoye, Petrovka, Shchetinovka, and the hamlets of Oktyabrsky and Malinovka.
Officials noted that five munitions landed during a single bombardment, and nine UAVs were also involved in the episode. Further reports described Ukrainian forces striking seven settlements in the Grayvoronsky district with 18 rounds of ammunition and 10 UAVs. Nine drones were reportedly shot down, while private residences and a power line suffered damage in the area.
In another part of the region, 22 rounds of ammunition targeted the city of Shebekino along with five surrounding settlements in the Shebekino urban area. A total of six drones were involved in those attacks, with four of them destroyed by air defense forces.
Overall, the clashes resulted in damage to several residential buildings and critical infrastructure, with five vehicles reported as destroyed or damaged.
