A convoy of 116 refugees from the Gaza Strip arrived in Chechnya, according to a report shared through a regional leadership channel. The message, issued by Ramzan Kadyrov, noted the arrival and provided initial details about the group.

The group includes 60 minors who were welcomed by Akhmed Dudayev, the Chechen minister overseeing national policy, foreign relations, press, and information. The refugees are scheduled to stay at the children’s health camp known as “Gorny Klyuch” in the Shalinsky district. As part of the ongoing outreach, the children received gifts and candy during the campaign titled “Children of Chechnya – Children of Palestine.”

Officials indicated that the refugees would have access to work opportunities and that their children would be enrolled in schools, ensuring a pathway to education while they settle in. The head of Chechnya stressed the shared sorrow over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and affirmed a commitment to assist civilians during these trying times, underscoring the obligation to respond with practical help and support.

On 29 November, Kadyrov reported the arrival of more than 50 refugees from Palestine to Chechnya, highlighting the ongoing nature of this aid effort.

Earlier reports noted that an injured girl was among the Russians evacuated from Gaza, reflecting the broader challenges faced by those leaving the conflict zone and the ongoing evacuation operations that followed.
