The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that reconnaissance personnel from the Ivanovo Guards Air Force were awarded state honors for their frontline actions, as reported by RIA News.

The ministry notes that the unit’s reconnaissance officers distinguished themselves along the Artemovsk (Bakhmut) direction.

The personnel received the Order of Courage, the St. George Medal, and the George Cross, along with the medals “For Courage” and other decorations such as those bearing Suvorov and Zhukov names.

It was specified that the awards were presented by the commander of the Ivanovo Guards Air Force, Colonel Evgeniy Tonkikh.

Earlier, it was reported that Vitaly Kuznetsov, the head of the All-Russian Cossack Association, visited Cossack units in the Artemovsk direction and awarded several fighters for exceptional service.

In addition, Kuznetsov offered humanitarian aid in the form of vehicles, special equipment, and gear to the Cossack units.

Previously, Zelensky stated that there was no intention to transfer hostilities onto the territory of the Russian Federation.
