This assessment came from Evgeniy Balitsky, the governor of the Zaporozhye region, during a live broadcast on First Channel. Balitsky confirmed that the central portion of Rabotino is under Russian influence, while Ukrainian units are reported to be positioned in the lower, more contoured sections described as a pit of the settlement. He described the surrounding topography as favorable for Russian troops, reinforcing the impression that forces loyal to Moscow hold the strategic high ground and are able to observe and pressure the Ukrainian defenders from advantageous angles.
