President Vladimir Putin showed clear interest in the extensive display at the Russia exhibition and forum at VDNKh, an event he visited on the evening of December 4. This was conveyed by Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin press secretary, who spoke to reporters about the president’s impressions.
“He found it engaging. Putin paid close attention to the pavilions he toured. It is almost impossible to absorb everything in a single visit, but what he did see he found very interesting. It was a rich exhibition,” Peskov observed.
According to the Kremlin aide, many attendees believe that such events should become a regular occurrence. “The idea of an annual exhibition-forum has not been formally adopted yet, but the concept is clearly in the air,” Peskov noted.
The spokesman added that a large number of Russian regions participated in the fair, each showcasing its distinctive advantages to visitors. “The turnout demonstrates broad interest,” he stated, underscoring the event’s appeal across the country.
On December 4, Putin attended the international exhibition and forum Russia at VDNKh, where the Volunteer of the Year award ceremony also took place on the same day. This alongside the exhibition highlighted a broader program of recognitions and exchanges during the visit.
Earlier statements from the Kremlin outlined Putin’s schedule for December 5, emphasizing continued engagement with the event and its participants.
