In a case that has drawn considerable attention, police agents arrested a man suspected of committing a series of sexual offenses over the past five years against his daughter. The victim, now in her twenties, filed a formal complaint with local authorities and described enduring harassment since she began living with her father during her childhood years.
According to the Family and Women’s Unit, a specialized division within the police force that handles sexual crimes, investigators are examining the allegations in detail. The young woman indicated that her father pressured her to reside with him when she was fifteen, gradually isolating her from her mother and other family members. She reported repeated sexual assaults and forced sexual activity, occurring both at her father’s home and at various hotels during their travels.
The troubling pattern reportedly continued for five years, with the victim stating she faced multiple assaults during that time. She also disclosed that her father had directed inappropriate advances toward two of his friends with whom he had sexual contact.
Upon receiving the complaint, officers from the Ufam unit initiated a formal investigation. Law enforcement was able to gather statements from several witnesses and conduct interviews to piece together the sequence of events. The police culminated the inquiry with the arrest of the suspect last Sunday as part of ongoing efforts to address sexual violence and protect vulnerable individuals in the community.
