Passenger from Sverdlovsk region accused of assaulting airport staff in Vladikavkaz; investigation underway

A person from the Sverdlovsk region attacked an airline employee in Vladikavkaz and then contacted the police. This information was reported by the Telegram channel Ural PasteUralmash.

According to the channel, the incident occurred on April 1 as the woman was returning from Vladikavkaz to the Sverdlovsk region, with the final destination being Pervouralsk. She was eight minutes late for the scheduled takeoff on Saturday, and as a result she could not board the aircraft.

Afterward, the woman began behaving inappropriately. She allegedly offered a bribe to a Nordwind Airlines representative and recorded the event. Following her inability to board the plane, she turned to the local police. The applicant claims to have been insulted, and possibly assaulted, and states that his phone was damaged in the confrontation.

The next possible flight to Yekaterinburg was listed for about a week later. In the meantime, law enforcement officials are conducting a standard investigation, while the individual involved remains in Vladikavkaz at her own expense.

Nordwind Airlines has not issued an official comment regarding the incident at the airport.

This incident follows a separate report from Sheremetyevo where a passenger directed curses at fellow travelers and assaulted a flight attendant.

In this case, authorities are evaluating the sequence of events, including the missed boarding window, the alleged bribe attempt, and any physical damage or verbal abuse. Investigators are also reviewing security footage and statements from staff and witnesses to determine the appropriate charges and next steps. Passengers are reminded to follow airline procedures and seek assistance through official channels if tensions rise during boarding or on board. The situation underscores the importance of calm, orderly conduct at airports and aboard flights, and officials emphasize that any form of violence or coercion will be addressed through proper legal channels.
