In Omsk, teenagers are suspected of firing at a stroller carrying a child and the child’s mother, according to Om1.ru.
The event took place near the victim’s residence. The woman recounts that she and a friend approached the entrance and asked to sit on a bench, only to find a group of youths already occupying the spot and drinking alcohol.
Witnesses say the residents asked the schoolchildren to yield their seats. When the group did not respond favorably, one of the teens allegedly brandished a traumatic gun. The mother of the baby says that the youth then fired in her legs.
“The stroller could have been struck, but the friend of the victim pushed the stroller away in time,” Om1.ru reports.
The assailants fled the scene. Afterward, the mother checked her legs and found five injuries, and she observed bullet holes in the stroller.
Officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs told reporters that the identities of the schoolchildren who were sitting on the bench have been established. The investigation continues, and a criminal case will be opened if justified by the results.
Separately, participants in a wedding procession in early Bashkiria opened fire during the celebration.
