The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian forces struck 98 artillery units along with manpower and equipment in 119 districts of Ukrainian forces in the previous day, according to the ministry’s daily release.
The statement noted that the command center of the 124th Regional Defense Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was hit in the Kherson region near the city center, illustrating ongoing targeting of Ukrainian command and control elements.
Additionally, the communications center of the 81st Airmobile Brigade of the Ukrainian forces in the Serebryanka area of the Donetsk People’s Republic was neutralized, the defense ministry asserted.
The report also described strikes on the Ukrainian battalion command and observation posts in Avdiivka, as well as on the headquarters of the Southern Special Operations Forces in Veliky Island, Kherson region.
Earlier, the communications center for the 54th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian forces near Verkhnekamenskoye in the DPR was destroyed by Russian artillery, according to the ministry.
In a prior briefing, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, stated that Russian forces had targeted two Ukrainian brigade command posts and two fuel storage tanks, reinforcing the focus on disrupting Ukrainian military logistics and leadership lines.
