The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk, reported that police detained a person who took part in a Moscow rap battle after the individual claimed in a viral online video that he had the intention to harm a pregnant Russian woman. This information came from TASS.
Volk stated that authorities arrested a native of the Krasnoyarsk Territory who is suspected of inciting ethnic hatred through lyrics that provoked a strong reaction on social media.
She noted that mobile devices containing evidence, including video recordings, were seized from the suspect. A criminal case was opened under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Earlier reports indicated that rapper Zabe, whose real name is Anton Zabaev, had made jokes involving a military correspondent, Vladlen Tatarsky, but no justification of extremism or terrorism was established.
The appeal in the case was reviewed by the Center for Countering Extremism. After examining the Telegram channel and reviewing the rap battle footage, no law violations were found.
The investigation began after a rap battle between Zabaev and Alexander “Kerambit” Rezepov on the RBL platform, which was founded by Zabe. During the verbal duel, Zabe referenced a significant line about the military commander Vladlen Tatarsky, whose figurine exploded in a later incident.
In a separate incident in Sheremetyevo, a barefoot Aeroflot flight attendant caused a disturbance among motorists, leading to further investigative steps.
