New Judges Sworn in at TSJCV Ceremony in Valencia

Seven judges sworn in as part of the LXXI Legal Career Promotion, with two additional members from the XXII Encouragement of the Fourth Judicial Change, during a ceremony before the Government Division of the Supreme Court in Valencia. The Valencian Community’s Supreme Court of Justice (TSJCV) welcomed the new appointees into its ranks.

During the proceedings in the City of Justice in Valencia, the president of TSJCV extended best wishes and reminded the new magistrates of their public duty. He underscored a pledge of “community commitment,” a responsibility accepted at appointment to provide thoughtful, knowledgeable, transparent, and independent decisions for citizens seeking justice.

The seven appointees from the LXXI Promotion include six women and one man. Those assigned to Valencia will hold positions in the Courts of First Instance and Order Numbers 1 and 2 in Ibi, 1 in Alcoy, 1 in San Vicente del Raspeig, 2 in Villajoyosa, and 3 in Villena, all within the Alicante province, with one appointment in Segorbe, Castellón province.

Additionally, a judge and a judge, who entered a career through the XXII Promotion of the Fourth Judicial Change, secured positions following a competitive examination among recognized legal professionals. They will serve in Criminal Court No. 1 and Criminal Court No. 4 in Orihuela, with bases in Torrevieja, Alicante.

These appointments reflect ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership within the Valencian judiciary, ensuring continued access to fair, principled, and transparent justice across the province.
