The Investigative Committee of Russia’s Krasnoyarsk Territory released new information about the murder of a 12-year-old student in Achinsk. Officials say the boy was attacked with an axe by a classmate and his body was disposed of in a nearby river. Details were shared through the committee’s Telegram channel.
The deceased reportedly visited a classmate’s home around 15:00 on November 17. A confrontation occurred between the youths, during which the victim directed hostile language at his peers. In the course of the altercation, the accused person seized an axe from the hallway and struck the other boy in the back of the head, according to the department’s statement.
After the attack, it is claimed that the assailant placed the victim’s body into a car, transported it to the Mazulka River, and cast the body into the water. Investigators found the victim’s clothing, a backpack, and a vehicle bearing blood traces at the alleged perpetrator’s residence.
Prior to these conclusions, investigators explored several possible scenarios. One theory involved the stepfather of the deceased, but this version has not been confirmed.
Earlier, the mother reported the disappearance of her 12-year-old son on November 17 when he did not return home from school. The search led to the body being located in Mazulka, with indications of a violent death.
In related updates, authorities also clarified details concerning the deaths of two Russians in India.
