The case involves a man believed to have killed a drinking companion. Allegedly, the suspect, a 42-year-old resident of Novosibirsk, was involved in a fatal incident linked to a law enforcement body in Tyumen.
Investigators in Tyumen opened a criminal case titled Murder against a man who was 42 years old and living in Novosibirsk at the time of the events.
Reports indicate that the confrontation occurred on a Monday afternoon, May 1. On a balcony of a residential building on Melnikaite Street, the suspect and the victim shared a drinking session that escalated into a dispute. During the argument, the 42-year-old suspect grabbed the 41-year-old victim by the legs and pushed him from a height of seven floors. The fall brought fatal injuries at once.
The victim, having sustained severe injuries, died at the scene. The person involved in the incident was detained and, during questioning, admitted guilt in front of investigators. The evidence gathered during the inquiry linked the suspect to the crime beyond reasonable doubt.
Court proceedings were set to determine the suspect’s detention as of May 3. The investigation continued to assess all aspects of the case and to establish the full circumstances surrounding the event.
Earlier reports from another region described a separate incident in which a mother in Chelyabinsk reportedly threw her children from a higher floor before taking her own life. This information is included here for context and is not connected to the Tyumen case discussed above.
