Approaches

The main maritime event in the Region of Murcia is the Murcia Marina de las Salinas Boat Show, scheduled for 28–31 March. In its 12th edition, the fair welcomes professional visitors and the general public, offering the largest exhibition of products and services to enjoy the sea.

The venue is the sports pier at the port of San Pedro de Pinatar. Here, more than 50 brands will showcase boats of every kind: sailboats, motorboats, fishing craft, touring vessels, new and used models, and a range of lengths. Also present will be sailing clubs and charter companies, along with businesses selling motors, clothing, and sea accessories.

Even the basic ancillary industries will be represented by exhibitors involved in moorings rental and sales, marine safety gear, jet skis, and marine décor.

Record year in participation

The exhibition area is set to break records this year due to strong interest from companies, prompting organizers to expand the commercial space to accommodate all exhibitors. A large portion of the stands repeats year after year because of high profitability. The fair operates as a direct-sales event, serving as a lever to attract new businesses, enable networking, promote products and services, and even secure immediate sales.

A plan for Easter weekend

Beyond the commercial offerings, the Murcia Marina de las Salinas Boat Show Zone also hosts a diverse event program with magic shows, music concerts, and the third edition of the Marina de las Salinas Emerging Designers Competition, kicking off on Saturday the 30th at 15:00.

The event schedule runs uninterrupted from 10:00 to 20:00 across the four opening days, aligning with the Holy Week holidays from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday.

All four days are expected to draw around 25,000 visitors, a figure consistent with recent years, with attendees mainly from the Region of Murcia, the Valencian Community, Madrid, and Andalusia. There is also a notable international presence, including visitors from England, France, and Belgium who either live in the Levant or travel here to celebrate their passion for sailing year-round.

More than 25,000 people are expected to attend the exhibition, as each year continues to show strong turnout.

Marina de las Salinas Boat Show in the Region of Murcia is organized by the Maritime Association of Marina de las Salinas and the Region of Murcia (ANAM). The marina area includes entertainment and dining options with a range of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlors, and shops.
