International Collaboration in Moscow Region Healthcare Strengthened
The Moscow Region is maintaining active dialogue with healthcare professionals from multiple countries. During the IV Congress of Pediatricians in the Moscow Region, Governor Andrey Vorobyov highlighted this ongoing international engagement, as reported by the TV channel 360.
Vorobyov noted that, although the times have changed and some have distanced themselves, the work being carried out by notable regional medical leaders continues to show strong international cooperation. He cited the contributions of Niso Dzhumaevna Odinaeva, Alexey Ivanovich Sapanyuk, and Svetlana Anatolyevna Strigunkova as evidence that collaboration with foreign experts remains robust and productive. The governor emphasized that medical professionals should stay focused on patient care rather than politics, and that exchanges with global colleagues help strengthen the region’s healthcare system overall.
He also underscored that international conferences and joint initiatives with experts abroad contribute to making regional medical teams more capable in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions. The emphasis is on unity and shared knowledge to improve outcomes for people facing illness, regardless of borders.
Prior to these discussions, Vorobyov announced that all ambulance crews serving the Moscow area will be covered by accident insurance. In the event of an on-duty incident, doctors and paramedics will receive financial compensation, reinforcing the region’s commitment to supporting frontline medical staff.
Earlier, Vorobyov opened the third training cluster in the Moscow Region, underscoring ongoing investments in education and professional development for healthcare workers.
