The search for a 15-year-old girl who vanished in Russia’s Voronezh region at the start of January has concluded with a positive outcome. According to reports from MINE! Online, and citing the Lisa Alert search team, the teenager has been located and is alive.

Initial information from January 3 revealed that a minor from the village of Mitrofanovka had gone missing. She left home and then stopped answering calls or messages, triggering a wide search across the area.

During inquiries it emerged that the teenager had been living with relatives prior to the disappearance and had not had recent conflicts with them. The New Year holidays brought a temporary separation within the family, and when the relatives returned, the girl could not be located. Her phone remained unanswered, complicating the search.

Family members initially suspected the possibility that the child could be in the Penza region. By January 11, authorities confirmed that she had indeed been in Penza, and she did not require medical attention upon being found.

Earlier, there were reports of another family with children who disappeared near Volgograd after traveling to a village described as occupied by non-Russians. Officials and search teams worked to clarify the circumstances and ensure the safety of all children involved, though those reports did not pertain to the Mitrofanovka case.

The coordinated effort involved local police, volunteers, and search teams who followed various leads and checked multiple locations. The discovery of the teenager underscores the importance of timely reporting and community vigilance in missing-person cases. Authorities continue to remind residents to stay connected with their families, especially during holiday periods when routine routines are disrupted and the risk of separation increases.
