A Civil Security operation in Culleredo is examining a case of a person reported missing by a neighbor, with investigators noting blood traces and shell casings at the residence. The Armed Institute Judicial Police is leading the inquiry and has kept all hypotheses on the table. The search protocol being followed mirrors standard procedures for locating a missing person, leveraging nearby resources and live data to map credible leads.
Authorities confirmed they are working to clean up the blood evidence found at the neighbor’s home while continuing the search for the missing individual. The Civil Guard identified a man who was seen in the area driving a vehicle that later disappeared along with the person presumed to be the passenger. Investigators have taken the driver’s statement and are reviewing it as part of a broad assessment of potential correlations to the case. Sources close to the investigation caution that there is not yet any evidence linking the driver to the disappearance of the resident in Culleredo.
The missing man is the same individual previously arrested and remanded without bail in connection with a December incident. He faced charges related to restraining and transporting a woman in a van on the A-6 highway near Culleredo, with authorities investigating allegations of gender-based violence, bodily harm, illegal detention, and violations of a court order.
On December 22 at 9:30 a.m., medical personnel were alerted to a woman found in distress inside a van who had been restrained. The suspect had fled on foot but was detained by a Civil Guard patrol at 10:15 a.m. The injured party was transported to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. The suspect was subsequently arrested and transferred to the Lonzas police station, where he appeared before the court and was kept in custody pending further proceedings.
