In 2023, low income families in Spain received new supports for raising children. Aimed at households with a minimum living income, the benefit provides up to 100 euros per child and is linked to the general state budgets through 2022. This allowance was previously limited to workers with children up to age three, and its availability was extended to include unemployed people as well.

How to claim 100 Euros per child

Beyond the basic rights associated with the minimum living income, the government defined income thresholds for families with dependent children. For two parents with one child, annual earnings must be under 27,000 euros, and for two parents with two or more children, the threshold rises to 32,100 euros per year.
