In the Crimea, within the Tavrida art cluster, the Meganom academy of creative industries began its studies, marking the opening with a multimedia exhibition called Day One. This information came from the press service of the Tavrida art set.
The Creative Industries Academy Meganom is planned to be a pivotal platform for fostering young Russian art, serving as a cornerstone of the Tavrida.ART youth and education center.
The Day One exhibition is open to all visitors at Meganom Academy through June 30. Beginning June 2, attendance requires pre-registration via the tavrida.art portal.
The show merges science and art into a single experience, presenting Tavrida.ART as an array of digital artist residencies, interactive multimedia spaces, holographic installations, video art, and creative experimentation for participants to explore.
The exhibition unfolds as a walking route, inviting guests to encounter at each stop a new installation that symbolizes the fusion of science and nature, light and form, and the interaction between the divine aspects of reality and human invention. The Tavrida art cluster press service noted that artificial intelligence technologies form the core of every exhibit, driving the creation of innovative and sophisticated artworks on that foundation.
Two international creative studios, OOPS Team and Robohall, designed several interactive zones specifically for Day One, enhancing the immersive experience with technology-driven collaboration.
The highlight of Meganom Academy’s exhibition space is the Solar Flower multimedia installation, built around a heavy industrial robot arm. The flower bud comprises LED panels, augmented lighting, and computer vision, while viewers watch the bud rotate toward sunlight in real time, mirroring the behavior of a living plant.
In describing the project, organizers emphasized that the exhibition seeks to capture the creative process as a kind of personal, almost sacred act. It is not confined to traditional art forms; today’s art refuses to stand still and instead embodies the achievements of science and cutting-edge innovation. This approach signals the emergence of new contemporary art movements that blend science, art, and techno art alongside other evolving practices.
Officials pointed out that installations and objects in the exhibition were created through the collaboration of technicians, information technology specialists, and artists, with artificial intelligence playing a central role in powering the works.
