IC Rosgosstrakh disclosed, in a survey examined by socialbites.ca, that more than one in three Russians have experience with medical tourism. The figure stands at 38 percent, illustrating a notable interest in seeking health-related services beyond ordinary medical care. Of these, 19 percent visited medical centers within Russia, 14 percent traveled abroad for treatment, and 5 percent did both domestic and international care. Over the past three years, 40 percent of respondents reported at least one sanatorium visit, with 39 percent going on an annual basis and 15 percent making two or three trips during the year. The motivations behind these visits reveal a strong emphasis on managing health needs and wellness.
