A few days ago, officers from the Malaga Traffic Civil Guard were called to investigate a troubling incident on the A-7 near Marbella. A young man was observed riding in the vehicle in an unsafe and illegal manner, sitting on the roof rather than inside the passenger area. This alarming behavior came to light when two videos surfaced on social networks showing the young woman’s body partially outside the car through a sunroof while the vehicle was in motion near a highway and a nearby roundabout. The sight prompted a rapid response from law enforcement, who began a formal inquiry to determine the facts and identify the individuals involved so as to assess any immediate danger to the public and to the driver.

Following the initial steps, authorities were able to locate and identify the driver of the vehicle, a 32-year-old man. The investigation continued as officers pursued the case, treating it as a potential offense against road safety due to reckless driving. The conduct was examined in light of relevant statutes, with possible penalties that could include imprisonment for a period ranging from six months to two years, alongside the deprivation of the right to drive motor vehicles and mopeds for one to six years. The ongoing inquiry sought to establish the exact sequence of events, the level of risk posed by remaining on the car’s roof, and whether any actions by the driver mitigated or failed to mitigate those hazards.

The investigation established that the vehicle traveled a minimum of three kilometers along the A-7 while the occupant maintained the risky position on the vehicle’s exterior. This setup created a clear and evident risk of serious injury or fatality in the event of braking, swerving, or any sudden movement. At no point did the driver take steps to reduce or neutralize the risk, and this lack of precaution contributed to the seriousness of the offense being examined. The case illustrates the importance of compliant behavior on highways, particularly when young or inexperienced drivers place themselves and others in danger by disregarding basic safety norms.

A bikini-clad girl was also identified in the footage, and a formal complaint was filed regarding possible violations of the General Traffic Regulation and the handling of a traffic accident. The authorities are reviewing whether additional charges or administrative penalties should accompany the primary road safety offense, and they will determine the appropriate course of action based on the full assessment of the incident, the degree of risk involved, and the applicable local and national traffic regulations.
