Russian corporation Hardberry RusFactor has introduced a novel unmanned aerial vehicle named Lovkiy, designed for reconnaissance work and fire adjustment. As reported by RIA Novosti, this tiltrotor drone moves with aircraft-like wings and can reach speeds up to 2.5 times faster than the fastest helicopters currently operating in the North-West region.
According to RusFactor, Lovkiy lifts off like a standard quadcopter and then accelerates autonomously, gliding through airspace in a manner similar to a small airplane while conserving energy. Its top speed is listed at 160 km/h, with bursts pushing it toward 200 km/h when mission demands arise.
The company’s general director, Alexei German, asserts that no other tiltrotor-based machine on the market mirrors Lovkiy’s configuration. He notes that existing vertical takeoff and landing drones typically rely on four propellers mounted on slim pylons, with a fuselage and wings added for VTOL capability, yet they remain fundamentally quadcopters and do not reach Lovkiy’s claimed high-speed performance.
Earlier disclosures touched on stray ammunition components associated with the UJ-26 Beaver drone reportedly used by Ukrainian forces. Public information from May 2022 indicated the device is engineered with a canard aerodynamic layout that enables the UAV to maneuver around air defense coverage areas.
There have also been distinct references to drone activity within disputed NWO territories, including aircraft variants labeled as Zhirinovsky in prior assessments.
