Elected Local Police of San Vicente del Raspeig arrested a person who attempted to illegally occupy a home located on San Isidro Street.
The incident occurred last Wednesday, March 20, when the police received a report via a phone call from several neighbors who had seen someone manipulating the lock of a residence on this central street, according to municipal sources.
Upon notification, a patrol promptly arrived at the scene and found the house door ajar with an individual inside who admitted having changed the lock to gain entry to the property later on.
Continuing the investigation and establishing contact with the homeowner, the police were informed that the owner had not authorized any person to enter the residence and expressed the intention to file a complaint about the events.
Following the inquiries, a 31-year-old man was detained and, after completing the necessary procedures, transferred for judicial processing.
The Local Police expressed gratitude to the neighbors for their effective collaboration, noting that their quick cooperation significantly aided in resolving the case promptly.
