The second season winner, Evgeny Grabchak, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, outlined the major challenges facing the sector in the near term and described the growing demand for skilled professionals in energy.
He highlighted that while there are many hurdles, the core priority remains people and their well-being. Beyond guaranteeing a stable power supply for domestic consumers, the sector aims to recalibrate energy delivery to international markets, taking into account the current global context. Ensuring the sustainable operation of the entire fuel and energy complex remains essential, even amid constraints.
Konstantin Mihaylik, the deputy minister for construction, housing, and communal services, noted a strategic shift toward building a unified information ecosystem. The concept centers on a digital object that can connect a digital region to a digital country.
He added that digital solutions should span the full lifecycle of capital construction projects, from pre-project stages through operational use. Implementing this approach is expected to improve industry transparency and enhance efficiency, including economic efficiency, by driving down costs.
