Shuttlebusiness accelerator, led by Juan Roig, has added two Alicante-based ventures to its expanding roster. This move places the program among 86 companies selected for its competitive call, a track record the organization highlights as fueling startup growth since 2013.

The first Alicante entrant is a board management company operated by Matias Nsothe, an engineer born in Elche. It stands out as the only local firm developing a certified, easy-to-use online voting system that delivers full legal validity for votes cast. Proponents say the technology can boost participation in shareholder meetings, board sessions, union elections, and any other type of organized consultation, offering a secure and accessible method for decision making.

The second Alicante arrival, selected through Lanzadera, comes from Alcoy and focuses on financial management and planning. The platform consolidates users’ bills and expenses on a single interface, helping them invest savings, analyze services such as insurance, telecommunications, and streaming, and identify ways to cut costs. The solution aims to simplify budgeting while enabling smarter spending across utilities and services.

The May call expands Lanzadera’s footprint to 86 initiatives from across Spain and Portugal, all entering diverse programs designed to nurture growth. Owner and CEO Martha Nogueras notes that the selected startups demonstrate strong holistic development, delivering digital innovations across multiple sectors and addressing market gaps that have long persisted. This emphasis on practical impact reflects the accelerator’s mission to support scalable solutions.

The selected Alicante startups have been placed into one of four phases that structure the Lanzadera program, based on maturity and growth trajectory: the consolidation phase targets established models seeking new milestones; the Growth phase focuses on companies with strong potential aiming for rapid expansion; the Traction phase supports early-stage initiatives building traction; and the Beginning phase is designed for entrepreneurs shaping nascent projects.

Startups in the program may access financing up to 500,000 euros, tailored to their needs, along with opportunities to partner with major firms through corporate deals already active within Lanzadera.
