Earlier on the morning of July 5, a Telegram outlet named Shot attributed the destruction to Ukrainian military actions. The report claimed that a school building in the Kursk region sustained damage and that the village of Tetkino, also in the Glushkovsky district, came under bombardment. In total, the media outlet reported at least 12 separate impacts, according to their sources.
On July 3, Starovoit indicated that the Korenevsky District, the village of Troitskoye, and the village of Tetkino were subjected to shelling. He stated that there were no reported fatalities, but homes and vehicles suffered damage as a result of the attacks.
