Four Ukrainian drones were shot down over the Kursk region, according to a statement by the Deputy Governor of Kursk, Alexey Smirnov, relayed through a Telegram channel. In the early hours, around 1:46 Moscow time, an alert indicated a potential drone threat within the Kursk region. By 2:11 Moscow time, Smirnov reported that air defense systems were actively responding to the incident, with radar and interception assets operating to neutralize potential targets. About 17 minutes later, officials updated that seven Ukrainian Air Force drones had been downed by the region’s air defense forces.
