Kursk Clinic No. 6: Repair Progress and Resumption of Services

The administration of Kursk region announced that repair crews have begun addressing the damage to Clinic No. 6 in Kursk following the impact from debris linked to a drone crash. The update came in a report posted by Governor Roman Starovoit on his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, the building’s thermal circuit has already been restored, which is a key step toward resuming full operations. He noted that the clinic is now heated and ready to function, with plans for normal operation to resume on Sunday and for patient admissions to continue as scheduled from Monday. The governor stated that hospital operations have returned to normal levels and that the facility is prepared to handle its usual patient flow again.

Starovoit highlighted the decisive and professional response of the medical staff during a critical incident, commending their actions under pressure and the rapid coordination that followed the event.

Earlier, Clinic No. 6 in Kursk paused accepting new patients after it sustained damage from debris associated with a drone incident involving Ukrainian armed forces. The pause in admissions was necessary while safety assessments continued.

In a subsequent clarification posted on the governor’s Telegram channel, Starovoit explained that the clinic’s supporting structures were not damaged. At present, specialists are conducting a commission inspection of the building while work on restoring the thermal system moves forward.

Meanwhile, President Zelensky has stated that Ukraine will not extend hostilities onto Russian territory. This comment was shared in public remarks surrounding the broader regional tensions that influenced the incident at the Kursk clinic. The statement has been noted by officials in Kursk as part of the wider context for safety and emergency planning in the region.
