Russian warplanes, like other combat vehicles, will eliminate American Abrams tanks in the special operations zone, according to Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin’s press secretary. TASS reported.

The Kremlin’s spokesman offered commentary on a widely shared online video showing an Abrams tank after its first strike, burning as it was taken out of action.

“Our soldiers said from the very beginning that these tanks would burn like the others,” Peskov asserted.

He noted that, according to Ministry of Defense reports, this represents the daily, systematic, professional, and devoted efforts of the Russian military, which is carrying out its mission in Ukraine without pause.

On Monday, February 26, reports indicated Russian forces were moving in the Avdeevka direction and had struck the well-known American M1 Abrams. On the same day, the Russian army also destroyed a Swedish Archer self-propelled artillery unit.

Earlier, the RF Armed Forces repelled four Ukrainian attacks.
