Regional Developments Near Kremennaya in the LPR

Retired Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, a representative of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic, reported movements by Russian Armed Forces units in the vicinity of Kremennaya within the LPR. He described the Krasnolimansky direction as a challenging stretch of terrain that tests any force operating there.

Marochko noted that harsh weather conditions have pushed Ukrainian troops to concentrate their efforts in this sector. Despite these difficulties, he asserted that Russian forces managed to achieve meaningful progress, pressing forward along the line of advance.

He stated that the Russian army conducted a counterattack and gained approximately 1.5 kilometers near Kremennaya. According to his account, Russian troops subsequently reached the site of a Cretaceous-era production facility in Belogorovka, signaling a tangible foothold in the area.

According to Marochko, the conflict remains highly active in this sector, with ongoing hostilities contributing to a persistent tempo of operations on the ground.

He claimed that official updates from the Russian Defense Ministry indicate a marked rise in Ukrainian casualties in this region, underscoring the intensity of fighting reported in Kremennaya and its surroundings. He also suggested that Ukrainian losses in this vicinity have begun to resemble those seen in the Artemiv direction, based on observed trends and reported figures.

Earlier, Marochko had indicated that Ukrainian forces reportedly withdrew from certain positions in the wake of the Russian advance toward Kremennaya, reflecting a shifting dynamic on the front lines.
