Several people assault a man in Krasnodar garden and the case moves to investigation
In Krasnodar, a group attacked a man in the garden area adjacent to a building complex. The victim, who had lost consciousness, was taken to a medical facility with injuries and remained under hospital observation after the incident became known to the city’s law enforcement authorities.
The incident took place in the parking lot of a multi-storey residential block around 1:00 a.m. on July 7. Video footage shows a group of assailants confronting a man wearing a white T-shirt and then delivering blows. The footage captures the moment the victim collapses to the ground, with assailants continuing kicks to the back, hips, and chest while a bystander attempts to intervene.
During the confrontation, one of the attackers drew a firearm and aimed it at the bystander, while the assault on the victim persisted. The victim sustained multiple injuries, including two lacerations on the thigh and neck, and was found unconscious by arriving medical responders. It was later confirmed that the injured man was 27 years old, prompting immediate involvement by law enforcement officials.
Law enforcement officers recovered an air pistol, a folding knife, and a silver bracelet at the scene. The owners of these items have not yet been identified. Reports indicate that six individuals participated in the fight.
Officials issued a statement that measures are being taken to identify all participants and that a legal procedural decision will be issued after the investigation concludes. The case remains active as investigators continue collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses.
Earlier in the year, a separate incident in Petrozavodsk involved youths assaulting a restaurant security guard, with footage later released. Authorities are reviewing all related footage to understand the broader context of street-level violence and to determine any possible connections between incidents.
