Kenneth Chesebro, an attorney connected with former President Donald Trump, pleaded guilty today in a Georgia case tied to efforts to overturn the 2020 election results. He admitted to conspiring with the then president to change the outcome in Georgia, aligning with the goal of delivering the state’s victory to the Republican side.
Chesebro became the third defendant in the Georgia matter to acknowledge guilt, coming a day after attorney Sidney Powell admitted her own guilt. Powell’s admission made her the second member of Trump’s legal team to take responsibility in this proceeding.
