In Kazan, a man under the influence of alcohol confronted a worker at a sex shop, alleging a lack of faith in God and threatening sexual violence. Evening Cauldron reported the incident.
According to a shop employee, the intoxicated individual claimed to be the owner of a residence and told staff that a sex shop could not operate there. It later emerged that the man did not own the apartment but rented the unit in question.
About an hour after the initial confrontation, the same man returned to the store and renewed his accusations of disbelief toward the employee for selling such goods. The employee recalled, I was accused of not believing in God because I was selling items of this nature, and I was told I would burn in hell and that he would rape me.
The shop’s owner stated that local residents had not objected to the sex shop, which has operated in the area for several years. The woman who reported the incident added that the aggressor was evacuated from the scene; police later detained the attacker, though he managed to flee and evade some authorities for a time.
Separately, footage from a nightclub in Ulan-Ude showed a large altercation among attendees, captured on video and circulated online.
