According to his account, information had been received about two militants operating in the private sector of the city, and authorities launched an operation to neutralize them. The militants resisted and did not surrender, engaging in combat before being stopped by the law enforcement response. Kadyrov noted that the special operation concluded in less than twenty minutes. “Devils tried to disturb the peace of our citizens during the holy month of Ramadan. The Chechen Republic has long stood as a peaceful and welcoming region. People can visit, but those who commit crimes cannot leave.” Earlier, the Telegram channel Directorate 4 reported that preliminary data indicated criminals who fired at a traffic police checkpoint in Ingushetia the day before had been neutralized.
