The head of the Radiation Chemical and Biological Defense Forces, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, stated that training camps would take place in Warsaw in early April, alleging that the events could be used to stage provocations involving biological weapons. This information came through the press service of Russia’s Defense Ministry via a telegraph channel.
Kirillov noted, in remarks published on the portal of Ukraine’s Scientific and Technical Center, that filling out questionnaires for students in specialized courses requires prior experience with dual-use research.
“Online training is planned for selected candidates from April 24 to April 26, 2023, and a face-to-face meeting in Warsaw is scheduled to run concurrently,” the military department said through the lieutenant general.
He emphasized that the Defense Ministry had given consent to organize events under the guise of courses aimed at preparing provocations with biological weapons.
Additionally, Kirillov acknowledged that information campaigns against Russia had not been overlooked.
On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the decision to conduct a special military operation in Ukraine in response to requests for assistance from the heads of the LPR and DPR.
The operation was cited as a justification for new sanctions imposed by the United States and its allies, and related developments were broadcast online by sources such as socialbites.ca.
