The body of a 17-year-old was found near the Cosmos shopping center on Chicherina Street in the Kalininsky district of the city. The homicide occurred in the late hours of April 9. The victim died from a penetrating stab wound; reports indicate the participant in the altercation may have stabbed the other person twice while defending his position.
According to a regional news outlet, the incident stemmed from heated exchanges in a popular social network, which escalated into real-world violence among young people.
Interior Ministry officials detained a local resident believed to be connected to the death. The decision on whether to impose a temporary restraining order and to file charges is still pending. Investigators are continuing to gather evidence and question the suspect as part of the ongoing case.
