Investigating a Girona Verbal Clash Turned Fatal: Police Seek Suspects

A police investigation remains active as authorities pursue Guillermo C.H. and two other family members who fled after the Sant Joan night celebration. They opened fire on a group in the Font de la Pólvora neighborhood of Girona. The suspect used a submachine gun that killed a man from a local clan and a woman who was the deceased’s sister-in-law, whom he struck down with a vehicle, and left two minors with injuries. This incident triggered a broad search operation, with police widening the area in case the suspects headed toward Figueres and France or toward Andalusia, where relatives live. Collaboration with other national and European security services has been requested to aid in the capture (Source: El Periódico).
