Incident Near Plaza Gomila in Palma Involves Two Men and Multiple Injuries

The events unfolded shortly before ten in the morning, just a short distance from Plaza Gomila, near La Polilla at number 55 on Avenida Joan Miró in Palma. Inside a local venue, a heated argument between a 25-year-old Moroccan man and a 30-year-old Colombian man escalated into a physical confrontation. The clash turned violent as both individuals swung and shoved, shattering glass bottles and causing numerous injuries.

Eyewitnesses who witnessed the brawl attempted to separate the combatants and quickly notified emergency services. A rapid response was dispatched to the Gomila entertainment venue as officers from the National Police arrived at the scene in a matter of minutes. Medical teams also moved to the location to assist the two main participants.

Paramedics found two individuals with significant wounds, especially on the face, neck, and torso, caused by the jagged edges of broken bottles. Bleeding was heavy in both cases, and one of the men sustained a fracture to the nasal bones after the impact. The severity of the injuries necessitated urgent medical care; both were transported to a hospital for treatment and observation.

After gathering statements from several witnesses, officers from the National Police proceeded with the arrests on charges connected to alleged ill-treatment and serious injury. Authorities indicated that the men would be held for further questioning as health professionals assessed their conditions and collected additional details from those involved and nearby witnesses.
