In Paris, local police intervened to separate a group of demonstrators who attempted to disrupt the Immortal Regiment event in Place de la République. According to DEA News, the confrontation was brief, with law enforcement swiftly clearing the scene as the procession moved forward without interruption.

The Paris march began at 14:00 local time, which corresponds to 15:00 in Moscow. On arrival, a subset of the crowd arrived carrying Ukrainian symbols and chanting anti-Russian slogans. Law enforcement promptly managed the situation, ensuring the main lineup proceeded as planned. The participants proceeded toward Pere Lachaise cemetery, lifting songs associated with the Great Patriotic War as part of the commemorative sequence.

Reports indicated that the city authorities had given formal approval for the event in this particular format. It is noted that in 2022 the participants were limited to a parade around the cemetery grounds, rather than extending a broader public display.

Earlier reports confirmed that Immortal Regiment processions had taken place in other European cities, including Barcelona and Frankfurt am Main, before the Paris event.

On March 7, a separate Immortal Regiment procession occurred in Madrid. In that instance, a majority of participants were Spanish, with many members affiliated with local anti-fascist organizations, contributing to the diverse international attendance observed in these commemorative events.
