The group conveyed their supportive spirit and shared reflections with the players about their experiences in the competition.

For the first time in its history, the national team has advanced to a World Cup final and is preparing for the decisive match with the aim of bringing home the trophy.

Since 2016, the Iberdrola Primera División Femenina has carried the league name, and in 2018 it was renamed to Primera Iberdrola, a designation maintained into the 2021/22 season. The professionalization of women’s football continues to be a priority, with ongoing support for competitions such as the Iberdrola Queen’s Cup, the Iberdrola Spanish Super Cup, and the Iberdrola First Federation.

As the leading sponsor of women’s sports in the country, Iberdrola supports 32 national sports federations and champions 32 top leagues along with 100 additional competitions. The company’s influence extends to two out of every three federated women in Spain, totaling more than 600,000 athletes, and the number of female licensees under the federations it backs has risen by 36 percent.
