A young man died after an accident involving a mechanical bull at the Terracor facility, located in the municipality of Petra on Majorca. Emergency medical services from the 061 unit arrived promptly, and rescuers worked to stabilize him. Despite rapid response efforts, the individual did not survive after sustaining a serious head injury, and the Civil Guard opened an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The incident occurred in the early afternoon inside the premises of a farm operated by Agrocor, situated near the Manacor highway adjacent to Petra. Local authorities reported that the accident happened before three o’clock in the afternoon as workers were going about their routine tasks at the agriculture site.
Initial information indicates that the deceased was a 21-year-old man whose exact role at the facility remained unclear at the time of reporting. He suffered a blow to the head from the mechanical bull during activities at the site. The nature of the day and the man’s specific work responsibilities were under review by investigators as part of the ongoing inquiry into how the accident occurred.
Colleagues immediately recognized the seriousness of the event. They attempted to provide aid and resuscitation but the injuries proved fatal. Witnesses described how first responders were guided through resuscitation steps while awaiting the arrival of paramedics and a medical helicopter unit for further care.
Rescue crews from the Civil Guard, Local Police, and Mallorca Fire Service, together with the 061 medical team, were dispatched to the location. Despite the coordinated response, the young man could not be saved.
