Home Textile Premium by Textilhogar stands at the forefront of industry internationalization as it celebrates its 50th edition and returns to Valencia, after a five-year stint in Madrid and a two-year interruption caused by the pandemic. The event is organized by Ateval-Home Textiles from Spain, coordinating a reverse mission that gathers nearly 100 buyers from 44 countries, interior designers, and press, and arranging B2B meetings at the booths across the fair days. This initiative enjoys the support of IVACE International and ICEX, and brings together the Feria Hábitat València and Espacio Cocina SICI at Feria Valencia from September 20 to 23, featuring 82 home textile exhibitors and close to 250 brand offers.

Additionally, the campaign has drawn confirmed involvement from international media, with representation from Bulgaria, Colombia, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, and Portugal.

In total, the event showcases nearly 250 brand offerings represented by 82 companies, of which 54 come from the Valencian Community, principally from the l’Alcoià, El Comtat, and Vall d’Albaida clusters. The 2023-2024 cycle will unveil the latest innovations and collections in home textiles.

Alongside market growth, the organizers acknowledge industry challenges and place emphasis on adopting a more sustainable production model. In line with this priority, a sustainability conference titled with participation by Grupo Innova is held in conjunction with the fair. The session explores how Sustainable Development Goals are integrated into company strategy and is scheduled to take place on September 22.

A dedicated meeting within the fair’s framework addressed the sector’s future, including the potential return of essential textile training to the Valencian Community. Attendees include Ateval representatives, along with the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), the Alcoy campus, the Spanish Intertextile Council, the Textile Technology Institute AITEX, and the National Textile and Fashion Observatory.

The fair remains a pivotal gathering point for leading home textile players and recently hosted the executive committee of the Intertextile Council on the 21st; the Spanish Habitat Federation organized an event on the 22nd to present the sector yearbook, followed by networking. Industry executives, including Ateval and leading business figures, participated in the closing proceedings, underscoring the fair’s role as a central industry hub.

Notably, Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar coincides with two other major Feria Valencia events, Feria Hábitat València and Espacio Cocina SICI, reinforcing its status as a premier professional meeting for the habitat sector’s top players.
