Granada Wind Incident: ICU Admission of 16-year-old Tourist

A 16-year-old international tourist was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Ghanada Traumatology Hospital on Monday after sustaining serious injuries from falling tree branches. The incident occurred in the gardens near the Alhambra at Cuesta Gomérez during a period of strong winds that affected Granada the previous Sunday. Medical staff report the youth is in significant pain and continuing to receive close monitoring and treatment for multiple injuries caused by impacts from the branches.
