After sweeping through the big screen, the Spanish films nominated for the Goya Awards 2024 have moved to digital platforms. Viewers can catch many titles until February 10, when the ceremony takes place in Valladolid.

The gala is led by Ana Belén and the Javis, with 20,000 Species of Bees as the standout favorite. New director Estíbaliz Urresola Solaguren’s film has earned 15 nominations, followed by Juan Antonio Bayona’s The Snow Society with 13. Among the contenders, Close Your Eyes and They Know both secured 11 nominations, while Un Amor led with 8 nominations.

Movistar Plus

Among the favorites, 20,000 Species of Bees is available on this platform. Also accessible is They Know It by David Trueba through a Movistar+ subscription. On Entry by Juan Sebastián Vasquez and Alejandro Rojas, Matria by Álvaro Gago Díaz, Under Therapy by Gerardo Herrero, Campeonex by Javier Fesser, I Love You Madly by Alejandro Marín, Félix Viscarret’s Life Is Not That Simple, Juan Jesús García Galocha’s Mummies, and the documentary This Excessive Ambition are all in the catalog.

Further expansions will bring Arantxa Echevarría’s The Chinese (February 2), Vicente Villanueva’s La Ternura (February 4), Fernando Trueba’s They Shot the Pianist, and Javier Mariscal’s O Corno (February 5), Jaione Camborda’s O Corno (February 6), and Close Your Eyes by Víctor Erice (February 8).

Netflix

One of the most notable competition entries, The Snow Society directed by Juan Antonio Bayona, is available on Netflix. Rubin Stein’s Tin & Tina is also streaming on this platform.

HBO Max

February 16 brings The Movie Narrator, directed by Lone Scherfig, to HBO Max.

Amazon Prime Video

Starting February 1, Prime Video will add Let No One Sleep, a film by Antonio Méndez Esparza, to its catalog.

Creatura by Elena Martín and The Girls Are Fine by Itsaso Arana can be seen through the release window. Mamacruz by Patricia Ortega will arrive on March 1, and On Entry will also be available on Prime Video as well as Movistar+.

In the cinema

On the big screen, A Love by Isabel Coixet, The Master Who Promised the Sea by Patricia Font, Robot Dreams by Pablo Berger, and Valley of Shadows by Salvador Calvo will be shown exclusively in theaters.
