GH VIP Update: Repechage Launch, Votes, and Comebacks on the Horizon

Following voluntary departure and disciplinary dismissals, Javier Fernández and Alex Caniggia, along with Gustavo Williame, are part of the latest edition of GH VIP. One of the most anticipated announcements aired last night. During the discussion, Ionian Aramen confirmed that repechage will begin next Thursday, allowing one or more former contestants to return home.

The exact mechanics of the repechage remain undisclosed and will be unveiled at the upcoming gala hosted by Marta Flich. Among the unknowns, some candidates may opt to rejoin the official competition.

The host noted that many questions linger. All the answers will come on Thursday. Who qualifies for the playoff? How many participants will there be? The host did not confirm whether Álex and Gustavo would be eligible to compete again, despite their prior expulsion by the organization.

The news sparked excitement among former contestants present on set, especially Albert He, who did not hesitate to dive to the floor and then greet the Argentinian participant with a warm embrace.

Laura Bozzo avoids expulsion from school

In addition to officially announcing the search, GH VIP saved one of its four candidates yesterday. Laura Bozzo turned out to be the contestant with the fewest votes since last Thursday and thus avoided elimination.

The standout moment came from Aramendi, who explained the blind percentages. A strong expulsion candidate with 79 percent of the vote was identified. The public’s decision seems clear, and there is a sense that José Antonio Avilés could depart after emerging as one of the most disliked contestants by the audience.

Even Avilés’s own mother confirmed yesterday that she had little hope for her son’s salvation against Carmen Alcayde and Michael: “After last Thursday’s show, there is no doubt what was inside. José Antonio Avilés stood at 79 percent, and that appears very legitimate to me.”

“Maybe I can break Nagore’s record and win the championship,” Avilés said after learning that he was not the one rescued. The program itself joked about the former contestant’s percentage on social media. GH Eleven left with 95 percent of the votes in a past season, and Nagore Robles’s record has not yet been surpassed.
