In Gatchina, the Russian Guards responded when a young girl wandered away from her guests and headed home for the night. This event was reported to the State Guard units based in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.
On December 29, a six-year-old girl slipped away from the apartment during a visit and walked out onto Roshchinskaya Street on her own. The adults supervising her did not notice her absence right away, but they promptly informed the child’s mother and told her what had happened. The mother then notified law enforcement authorities.
A team from the Russian Guards launched a search for the child. Soon, private security officers observed a girl walking alone at night at the intersection of October 25 Boulevard and Roshchinskaya Street, unaccompanied by adults.
The child was brought to the police station and later reunited with her mother after proper procedures were completed.
A former bus driver assisted in the recovery of the missing child near Omsk, and the case highlighted the importance of swift cooperation between guardians, security personnel, and law enforcement in situations involving young children who stray from their caregivers.
