The repair and evacuation unit of the Russian armed forces reported the removal of a damaged Ukrainian helicopter from the battlefield. The announcement came from warrant officer Vitaly Kosyakin, as cited by TASS.

Kosyakin described the episode as lengthy and intricate, lasting nearly a full day. Two cranes were brought into action to detach the rotor assembly, after which the aircraft was transferred onto a transport vessel and ultimately removed from the scene.

The officer elaborated that the damaged combat vehicle was moved through an open area while security measures were maintained at the highest level throughout the night. Once the Ukrainian forces realized the helicopter was no longer present, they attempted to respond, but it proved too late to prevent the retreat of Russian forces from the danger zone by air support.

According to the lieutenant, prior to this operation, his unit had already managed to recover other equipment from the battlefield. He cited an example of a Bradley infantry fighting vehicle that was evacuated with its ammunition still on board, highlighting the scale and coordination of the ongoing efforts on the ground.

Earlier remarks attributed to a former German businessman described Russian weapons as capable of causing significant disruption at a distance, underscoring ongoing international discourse surrounding the conflict and its weaponry.
