In Izmir, four young people have been taken into custody in connection with a violent incident in Bilbao that left a teenage male seriously hurt after being forced from a window. The suspects, aged 20, 19, 18 and 17, face charges including theft, home invasion, and attempted murder. The injured teen was hospitalized for observation following the attack and suffered injuries consistent with a fall from a significant height onto the street.
The incident unfolded on a Tuesday evening, around 19:30, inside a residence located in the San Francisco district of Bilbao. Local authorities, aided by the Ertzaintza, were alerted to disturbances within the home and broadened their response as they investigated rising tensions at the scene.
Upon arrival, officers identified two youths who had exited the building through the ground-floor doorway. One appeared to have bloodstains on his clothing. He then led officers to a second-floor apartment where two additional individuals were located, according to police statements.
The victim was later found on a public street, suffering multiple injuries from blows, cuts, and a puncture wound to the leg. An ambulance transported him to a hospital for treatment and observation, where medical teams continued to monitor his condition.
aggression against citizens
Early stages of the inquiry indicate that four youths, not residents of the property, forced entry and began assaulting a resident in one of the rooms. Reports suggest that two of the assailants grabbed the victim and threw him from a window onto the public roadway, an event described as occurring from a considerable height.
In response to these findings, the Ertzaintza began detaining the four individuals believed to be involved. Investigators continue reviewing statements as the detainees await court proceedings and a full account of the events is established through ongoing inquiries.
