When the door opened, he described meeting a young man, over 20 years old, with a distinct Argentine accent, wearing a white T-shirt with blue stripes, denim shorts, and a white-faced profile obscured by a visor. The visitor claimed to be seeking someone named Maria, alleging he had been offered a job, but the complainant did not know anyone by that name and the man left after the exchange.
After deciding to lie back on his bed, the victim heard voices again emanating from outside. Upon stepping outside his home, he noticed a person inside a nearby vehicle hurriedly rummaging through the glove compartment, with other items and documents scattered on the ground.
The complainant later identified this individual as Argentinian, in part because the two were introduced by a mutual friend. According to the report, the intruder wore a white shirt over a black shirt, white pants, black sneakers, and a surgical mask. In response to the intrusion, the victim confronted the man, who attempted to drive away in a vehicle while swinging a set of scissors reportedly stolen from inside.
