The child refused, and the adults resorted to force to achieve their goal.
Witnesses described a scene of coercion as the couple grabbed the child by the hands and dragged him toward the car. A relative of the family, Ksenia, rushed to aid her grandson and was struck during the struggle. Reports from the family indicate that the attackers even ran over the child with a car on two occasions.
